Busy Weekend: sewing, love and food

Hello everyone!

I had a busy weekend! I made so many things... I helped my husband with his work (which made me happy) and I sewed some of my niece's birthday party favors (she is turning 4). She loves purple and princesses. I am making drawstring backpacks for her and her friends in purple, pink and ivory; I'm also using a fabric with princesses' castles to make pockets. I am half way through. Finishing them will be my goal for this week. I think that she has an amazing aunt :) Don't you think?

I also sold a personalized Notebook Page Pencil Case. The costumer asked if I could embroider "Pencils and Pens" and the result was very cute!! You can buy it blank here, but if you want to order the pencil case with personalization, please send me an email at handmadephilosophy@gmail.com and I will be happy to provide you a quote.

Besides work, we had to go to the supermarket as we were without any food at home! We love going to Whole Foods... we always walk there because the entire way is so beautiful, it is really worth it. I took some pictures of the streets of Philadelphia on a sunny Sunday afternoon (I love this city!). Here you can see Rittenhouse Square, Logan Circle, and some beautiful flowers (I love flowers as well!!). The strawberries are from the supermarket (they smelled great, so I bought them).

Hello, it is nice to meet you! I love your pencil case, it is so pretty, I've made one before and it was a chocolate brown, with white designs on it and had a tan inside! I have posted about it on my blog if you would like to see it! Great post!
